Added

  • Off-by-default experimental feature to offload process ancestry of emitted events when that ancestry had been previously filtered out due to its similarity to a previous event.

Changed

  • Re-use network clients instead for offloading, remote config fetching, and plugin fetching instead of creating a different one per.

  • Changed default offload target to be Outpost if an outpost_auth_token is specified in the config.json. AWS offload should be considered deprecated.

Fixed

  • eBPF Telemetry: fix issue where a warning was emitted when renaming or chown'ing a symlink in overlayfs caused a new symlink to be created in the upper layer of the filesystem.
