    Share Files Securely with Red Canary

    Your Red Canary team might need to securely share a file with you or you might need to share confidential information with them. You can upload and share confidential files with your Red Canary team, such as debug logs or private keys, directly in Red Canary.

    Share a file with Red Canary 

    1. Click your user icon at the top right in your Red Canary, and then click Share a File

    2. Click Choose File.

    3. Select the file you want to share, and then click Open.

      Note: You can share a file up to 1 GB in size. If you have a file that’s over 1GB, separate the information into different files and share them individually. 

    4. Enter a description of the file, why you are sharing it, and your support request ticket number, if applicable.

    5. Click Submit. A confirmation window appears.

    Your Red Canary team will receive an email with a link to the file you shared and will contact you for additional information.

    Receive a file from Red Canary 

    The Red Canary team uses this feature to securely share files with you. You will be notified through email that you have been sent a file, along with a URL to access the file within Red Canary.

    After receiving an email notification, you’ll have seven days to access the file before it’s removed.
