Your Company Profile is where you can customize your organization’s details in Red Canary. With these settings, you can:
Set your organization’s name and logo for branded reports
Select your primary industry for comparative analytics
Configure an incident response plan and emergency notifications
Define your internal IP addresses
Exclude testing activities from threat reports
To view or update these settings, click your user icon in the top-right corner, then click Company Profile.
Note
You must be an administrator or the technical contact to modify the settings.
Modify Organization Profile Settings
In the Company Profile section, you can customize the platform's branding, reporting, and analytics to match your organization.
Use these fields to define your organization's core identity within Red Canary:
Name: Enter your official company name. This name will appear on all reports and throughout the platform. If you have multiple Red Canary accounts (subdomains), use a unique name for each to easily distinguish them.
Primary web domain: Provide your main website domain. Red Canary uses this domain to automatically retrieve your company logo.
Primary industry: Select your industry from the dropdown menu, which contextualizes our "How do we compare to other organizations?" report.
After editing, click Save Changes.
Configure Security Notification Protocols
In the My security protocols section, establish clear communication and response procedures for security incidents.
Emergency contacts: Define which Red Canary users to be notified in case of a critical threat. We recommend providing all three emergency contacts in the call tree. Only users who’ve added a phone number to their Red Canary user profile will appear in the dropdown.
Incident Response (IR) plan: Summarize or upload your official IR plan. This allows Red Canary to understand your procedures and collaborate with your team more effectively.
Third-Party IR Firms: List any external incident response firms you partner with.
After editing, click Save changes.
Define Internal IP Address Ranges
In the My network section, define your internal IP address ranges. This allows Red Canary to provide more accurate alerts by distinguishing between internal and external network activity. These IPs can be internal private IPs, static public IPs, remote office IP ranges, or other important networks.
Enter your internal network ranges in the text box, one per line. Use standard IPv4 or IPv6 CIDR notation, such as
10.0.0.0/8
or2001:db8:/32
.After editing, click Save changes.
Exclude Testing Threats from Reports
In the My Reports section, you can fine-tune the content of your generated reports. To reduce noise and focus on actionable threats, check the Exclude threats marked as testing from reports box. We recommend enabling this setting for cleaner reports.
After you check the box, click Save changes.
